It’s A Knockout

An internal ‘fun’ knockout competition was held on 30th April. It was an open subject competition for either colour or mono images. Entered prints were randomly divided into two sections and one from each section was displayed for critique. A vote was then taken by the members for the best image of the two and the winning print set aside for entry into round two. The procedure was repeated round by round until we eventually ended up with our winning image which was a newly edited version of Mike Bareham’s image ‘Noyers’.
It made a pleasant change to steer clear of an external judge, although it seems that one’s peers can be just as critical! Nevertheless it proved to be a very relaxing and enjoyable evening.
